As the Guelph Wellington Local Immigration Partnership transitions into the implementation phase, a Leadership Council and two Delivery Groups have been formed, to facilitate the implementation of the Action Strategies in the four areas of priority, as identified in the GW LIP Strategy.
Local Immigration Partnership (LIP) Leadership Council
The Leadership Council is formed by representatives from a variety of sectors in the community: newcomers/immigrants/general public, the Guelph Inclusiveness Alliance, decision makers, direct service providers, educational institutions, and others. They meet bi-monthly to provide strategic leadership to the project.

The Guelph Inclusiveness Alliance
The G.I.A. is a coalition of community organizations, which identified the need and developed the proposal for the Guelph Wellington Local Immigration Partnership project. Throughout the research portion of the Local Immigration partnership, the G.I.A. served in an advisory capacity, sharing knowledge of grass-roots issues impacting newcomers. Members of the G.I.A. currently sit on the LIP Leadership Council and Delivery Groups.
